Sola Gratia - Grace Alone By Timothy Moore Ephesians 2:8-10 Romans 3:23-24 John 13:34-35 Hebrews 4:16

The Bible is a book about a problem that has made all of humanity morbidly sick and the free cure is provided by a loving God.

The Cure: Grace

The world, apart from the grace of God, is full of self-absorbed people.

Self-Absorbation: I'll indulge myself - Hedonism, materialism I'll compare myself - Self-righteous moralism, religiosity I'll save myself - I'll do so much good that God will somehow be obliged to overlook my faults and accept me. I’ll entrust myself - receiving grace through saving faith

‘Grace’ Word Study Greek = Charis ‘Charity’ derives from this Charity = Taking loving action on behalf of others in need.

Grace is ‘the love of God in action…

Accomplishing three things: 1- Saving our immortal souls 2- Delivering us from self-absorption 3- Providing in answer to prayer
