Let Others Know Where You Stand
Baptism doesn’t make you a believer; it shows that you already believe. It doesn’t “save” you; only your faith in Christ does that. Think of baptism like a wedding ring—it’s an outward symbol of the commitment you’ve already made in your heart. It is a beautiful way to publicly declare your faith and the new life you have in Christ.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith...it is a fit of God - not by works so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9
