Living Ready By Timothy Moore
Philippians 4:6-7 John 10:27 2 Peter 3:18 Psalm 139:23 Hebrews 12:2 Titus 2:13-14 John 4:34-35
Living Ready is not living paranoid; it is living prepared. Paranoia is rooted in fear. Preparation is rooted in faith.
Listening
The first sign of someone who is ready is someone who is listening. Living ready means you’re not reacting to noise—you’re responding to the Shepherd.
Learning
Prepared people are teachable people. Every test becomes a lesson. Every failure becomes a classroom. Living ready means you’re always learning, never coasting.
Looking
Living ready involves an active partnership with the Holy Spirit. It shapes how we see in every direction. Looking Within (Adjustments)
We ask the Spirit to show us:
- Motives that need correction
- Bitterness that needs healing
- Sin that needs repentance
Looking Up (Faith)
Our readiness flows from our relationship with Jesus. We look up for strength, wisdom, and direction.
Living ready means letting God do inner work before asking Him to do outer miracles.
Looking Forward (Hope)
Hope keeps us moving forward, not hiding in fear.
Looking Around (Assignments)
Rooted in Scripture
