Hope Unleashed Week #5 By Timothy Moore

Ephesians 3:20-21 Luke 10:18-20

A prayer covenant is an agreement to pray together, in a specific way, for a specific purpose, for a specified time.

“Is it not breathtaking to hear Jesus say, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you” Matthew 7:7. Isn't it breathtaking to hear his brother James say, “You do not have, because you do not ask” James 4:2! Or to put it positively, “If you had asked, God would have acted to meet your need.” This is astonishing: God acts in response to prayer. The all-knowing, all-foreseeing, all-planning, all-governing God wills for your Christ-exalting prayers to be the occasion of his action.” (Dr. John Piper)

1- Provision The Lord has called us to a great assignment requiring great provision. 2 Corinthians 9:8

2- Protection There is the Kingdom of God and the domain of darkness. We need protection from the schemes of Satan and those working in his domain. Psalm 91 (The Psalm of Protection) can literally be this prayer.

3- People We need the right people to align and be involved with our move and the construction of ministry space within the facility. (architect, contractors, city government, skilled laborers, volunteers, etc. Exodus 36:1-7 God provided all the skilled craftsmen, leaders, and more than enough materials for the building of the sanctuary.

4- Prayer Pray for ‘pray-ers’. Ask the Holy Spirit to raise up a full canopy of prayer and guide all the prayers of the people. Pray that all the church family called CTK Hope would have an attitude of prayer and that our prayers being lifted up would become as natural as breathing. “Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

5- Peace We need calm hearts that simply trust the goodness and greatness of God. God is not powerful…He is All-Powerful. He is not wise…He is All-Knowing. And He is ‘for us’. Romans 8:31-34

6- Posture This is the posture of our hearts. We must have humility, faith, and a heart to obey the direction of the Holy Spirit, who always turns attention towards Jesus Christ and how we can reflect Him to others. James 4:10

7- Place We need the mall property to be a place people know they can find real hope. Romans 15:13

8- Praise Psalm 150:1-6 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!
