Psalm 103:2 Matthew 28:18-20

‘Unleashed’ - Definition: A release of powerful force that is typically unstoppable and cannot be contained.

• 'A nuclear war was unleashed'
• ‘The lake dam broke and was unleashed.’
• ‘The hurricane unleashed its fury.’
• Forgiveness of sins. Hebrews 8:12
• A forever family and forever home in heaven. John 14:2-4
• Abundant Life through yielding to the Holy Spirit John 10:10, Galatians 5:16

In Matthew 16:18 Jesus said,“I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.”

Local churches (gatherings of believers) are off mission.

• It’s time to shift from being culture-driven to being Kingdom driven
• It’s time for church leaders to shift from being performers to being equippers
• It’s time for believers to shift from being spectators in the grandstands to spiritual athletes on the field.
• It’s time to shift from being consumers who church shop to contributors who serve.
• It’s time to shift from personal preferences to the priorities and purpose of Christ.
• It’s time to shift from providing goods and services to making disciples on-mission across the street and around the world.

A disciple of Christ is someone who receives Christ by faith and lives a devotional, relational, and missional life with Him in the world. See John 3:16, John 8:31-32, John 10:27

The goal is for ALL of us to become disciple-makers.

You do have to BE a disciple to make a disciple.
