The Perspective: V. 1-4 1 Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven…

Metaphysical - (biblical greek = meta & physika) above or beyond natural human perception

Christ revealed that in that realm, God exists, spiritual beings exist (Holy and unholy), heaven exists and hell exists.

It is not illogical at all to believe the metaphysical realm exists, or to believe anything Jesus Christ said about it.

V. 1 and v. 3 - GOD HIMSELF v.1b - …where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. V.3 - For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

V. 1b - CHRIST SEATED "...where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand."

1. Jesus is above everything in creation
2. Jesus has the place of highest honor in all creation
3. Jesus is sitting down

This perspective changes our PATH and our PURPOSE.
