Covenant By Timothy Moore Ephesians 5:31-33

What is a covenant?

A covenant is an interlinking of persons, whereas a contract is simply agreed upon promises.

A covenant is more formal and more legal, in the highest sense (God's Eternal Kingdom), but it is also a loving relationship with a common purpose.

Covenants are relationships, established by God, designed to rescue and redeem us and ultimately heal and restore God’s broken and fallen world.

The blessings and favor of God live within His covenants.

The Primal Covenant

The first covenant God created, that impacts all other covenants for human beings is...marriage.

The marriage covenant is the expression and expansion of life from God and the love of God in the world.
