We stumble over the way God wraps His gifts
Receiving God’s Gift of Love
God often wraps the greatest gifts in a way that, at first, creates:
- confusion
- a sense of loss
- relationships
- dreams
- jobs
- rejection
- shame
- fear
What did the angel address first?
fear “Do not be afraid…” then,
confusion “...conceived by the Holy Spirit” then,
purpose “...name Him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
All of this is to rescue us with the love of God.
